      Teams - How to get the names of the team members who attended your meeting in Teams

      Description:

      How to check the members that attend specific Team meeting,

      Solution:

      1. Login to Teams admin center.
      2. Go to Users tab and click organizer of that meeting.




      3. Select Call history tab, and then you could see the number of attendees.


      4. Click the start time link, you will view the details of the attendees.





      Teams - Microphone not working

      Description:

      Having issues with the MS Teams Desktop App since the update applied on Mac OS. When in a call, the camera and speakers do work fine, but my microphone doesn't work.

      Solution:

      1. Open System Preferences.
      2. Click on Security & Privacy> Select the Privacy tab.
      3. Select Microphone on the left bar and verify the Microsoft Teams has permissions:


      If it was already enabled, you can try unchecking it and reboot your Mac, then enable it to see if it can help.

      If the problem persists, I would suggest you reinstall Teams and check the results. 

      Note: Please back up your data before installing to prevent data loss.

      Teams - Download Teams Chat History

      Description:

      How to download Teams Chat History


      Solution:

      Yes, chat history can be downloaded after performing Content Search in Compliance & Security center by Office 365 admins. 

      Your personal chat history is actually saved in your mailbox, which means it can be exported as other mailbox items by admins. If you are not an Office 365 admin, please contact your admin to help you export it: 

      In Content Search create a new search of your mailbox > choose Preview search results after the search completes > your personal chats will show as IM in subject & type > choose Download Original Item to export them as .eml files.

      Tools and apps

      Here's a list of tools and apps that are mentioned in the sections of this article. Some of the tools are built into Windows 10, and others are types of apps you can download from Microsoft Store.


      Tool: Wireless network report

      Description: This report shows you the last three days of Wi-Fi events from your PC. The report is an HTML file that you can open in your favorite web browser. When you create a wireless network report, .cab files that contain information about your connection are also created. Support people might use these files to help identify and solve Wi-Fi issues.


      Where to get it: You won't need to download anything else because this feature is built into Windows 10.


      To create the wireless network report

      In the search box on the taskbar, type Command prompt, press and hold (or right-click) Command prompt, and then select Run as administrator > Yes.


      At the command prompt, type netsh wlan show wlanreport.


      Tool: A Wi-Fi analyzer app

      Description: This type of app is used to see what Wi-Fi networks are around you and give you information about the networks. This can help you make decisions about your network to improve your Wi-Fi.


      Where to get it: Open Microsoft Store app, and then search for Wi-Fi analyzer.


      Tool: A network speed test app

      Description: This kind of app will test your Wi-Fi network connection speed by uploading and downloading data from the web. Your results will depend on both your Internet connection and your Wi-Fi connection. However, it will give you a good idea of your network speed.


      Where to get it: Open Microsoft Store app, and then search for speed test.


      Tool: Wireless router software

      Description: Software that lets you change settings on your router or other access point.


      Where to get it: Many times, you can get to your router settings by signing in through your web browser. For some routers though, you might use an app. For details about your specific router or other access point, see the documentation that might have come with it or visit the manufacturers website.

      How to open MSConfig in Windows 10

      From the taskbar, search System Configuration.

      Select the top result, System Configuration desktop app.

      Teams - How to sync outlook calendar with Teams

      Description:

      You are using an Outlook.com account (or Office 365 account) and Teams at the same time and you want to view the calendar of your Outlook.com account in Teams.

      Solution:

      Please try the following.

      Click "+"  icon under the channel you want to add the calendar to, and then select Website



      Type the name of the tab as you like and paste the following link under URL tab.

      https://outlook.live.com/calendar/view/month  (if you are using office 365 account paste the link: https://outlook.office.com/calendar/view/month)

      Then just type your account and credential as it prompt. You will view the calendar under Teams.


      Teams - How to delete a group in MS Teams

      Currently, It is still not possible to delete chats or group chats because the feature is still not available yet.


      1. Hide chats.
        You can hide it by hovering your mouse over the chat > select (...) > hide.

      Teams Error - "We're sorry -- We've run into an issue"

      Description:

      When opening Teams I get this error


      Resolution:

      Since reinstall Teams can temporarily fix this issue, you can try to sign out and kill Teams from Task Manager to see how it goes.


      If the problem persists, you can try to clear the Teams cache to see if it can help:


      1.  Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. You can right-click Teams from the Icon Tray and select ‘Quit’ or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.

      2.  Go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams.

      3.  Once in the directory, you’ll see a few of the following folders:

       a.  From within ‘Application Cache’, go to Cache and delete any of the files in the Cache location.

          *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache

       b.  From within ‘Blob_storage’, delete any files that are located here if any.

          *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage

       c.  From within ‘Cache’, delete all files.

          *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache

       d.  From within ‘databases’, delete all files.

          *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases

       e.  From within ‘GPUCache’, delete all files.

          *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache

       f.  From within ‘IndexedDB’, delete the .db file.

          *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB

       g.  From within ‘Local Storage’, delete all files.

          *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage

       h.  Lastly, from within ‘tmp’, delete any file.

      *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp

      Once the cleanup is finally completed, you can now restart Teams and check the results.

      Office 365 : Search bar moved to top

      Microsoft has recently redesigned Search Box to a new location in Office 365 Apps. At the top of your Office 365 Apps on Windows, you'll find the new Microsoft Search Box.











      This new search box can be removed from the top of Office 365 Apps except for Outlook.

      To remove the search box from Office 365 Apps please follow the below instructions:

      To do that go to File Options and select Collapse the Microsoft Search box by default.

      With the Search box collapsed you can still access it by clicking on the Magnifying glass towards the right side of the title bar, or by pressing ALT+Q.
